Mendix, where ‘thinkers become makers’ is an IT company for both left and right minders. On one hand, this is a space for the creative, dynamic, and young, while on the other hand it’s a space for analytical, experienced, and digital people.

The office area covers 6.500 m2 of both newly created and existing work spaces between the 5th and 6th floors of the building ‘De Rotterdam’, featuring a new, biophilic office design.

For the interior greenery, MOSS worked closely with the design team of CBRE to realize a true green escape in the middle of the work floor. This indoor jungle provides a variety of resting places, either for one person or for a few. This green zone is a safe haven, to take a break and have a mini nature bath before diving into the next big challenge. Taking moments like this in greenery is proven to improve productivity.
–
Throughout the work-floors, green dividers have been built up, so that from every desk greenery is visible. We also chose especially air-cleaning plants to truly make this a healthy office with sufficient biophilic office design.

The Mendix office combines creative and analytical spaces across 6,500 m². MOSS collaborated with CBRE to create an indoor jungle on the work floor, offering a green escape with diverse resting areas. Green dividers ensure greenery is visible from every desk, with air-purifying plants contributing to a healthy office environment. This biophilic design promotes productivity and well-being by incorporating nature into the workspace.
