Prepare to be captivated by the ten-story interior landscape concept at JetBrains Terrace Tower, featuring an enchanting biophilic design meticulously crafted by MOSS. Each floor represents a unique microclimate, drawing inspiration from diverse bioregions. From the serene icy desert on the lower levels to the invigorating Tundra summit on the top floor, the office environment caters to the diverse needs of JetBrainers.
In collaboration with the esteemed interior architect, D/Dock, MOSS has created an office environment that harmoniously embraces JetBrains’ appreciation for biophilia. The central focus of this project was to establish spaces that promote a healthy and verdant working environment for JetBrainers. Going beyond this objective, MOSS has curated an exquisite selection of distinctive plant species, meticulously chosen to emulate various atmospheres, aid in wayfinding, enhance sensory experiences, and imbue each floor with a distinct identity.
Embracing an innovative approach to indoor planting, MOSS has incorporated a range of plant species that push the boundaries of color, texture, shape, and structure. The vibrant botanical elements throughout JetBrains Terrace Tower contribute to a visually stunning ambiance that fosters a sense of inspiration and well-being. Additionally, employees have the opportunity to indulge in a delightful on-site harvest at the restaurant, where a rich assortment of fresh herbs, microgreens, edible flowers, and an array of small fruits and vegetables are available throughout the year.
The project team prioritized sustainability throughout the establishment of building operations and furniture selection. To ensure energy efficiency and user comfort, an automated system has been implemented to regulate sun protection, lighting, heating, and cooling in response to sunlight penetration and occupancy levels. This system allows employees to personalize their surroundings while maintaining optimal resource usage. Furthermore, the majority of the furniture follows circular design principles, promoting recycling and reducing waste.
This successful collaboration between MOSS and D/Dock marks the second notable project completed for JetBrains, following the acclaimed JetBrains workspace in Munich. Together, these visionary teams continue to redefine the boundaries of office design, creating spaces that inspire creativity, promote well-being, and establish a profound connection with the natural world.
