Scheduled to be completed in 2022, Booking.com is building a new headquarters in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam. The new 65,000 m2 campus will be located on the historic waterfront on Oosterdokseiland near Central Station.
For the Booking.com Campus in Amsterdam, UNStudio designed the urban approach and architecture, including the continuous spatial experience of the building. As Lead Interior Architect, HofmanDujardin designed the interior masterplan and was responsible for the collaboration and supervision of the interior design. The interior spaces such as welcome areas, restaurants, service point, balconies, auditorium, event spaces, workspaces, breakout spaces, and meeting rooms, were individually conceived and designed by teams from CBRE Design, HofmanDujardin, i29, Linehouse, Studio Modijefsky and UNStudio. Greenery design was done by Moss, carpet design by Scholten & Baijings, wayfinding design by Mijksenaar, hospitality design by Enbiun, and light specials design by Studio Rublek. CBRE Netherlands is responsible for the overall project management and supervision of all other related works in close collaboration with Royal Haskoning DHV for core and shell.
MOSS has been asked to play a role in the process for the Layer ‘Indoor and Outdoor Green’. The role of MOSS can be divided into different sub-categories:
– Lead / Project management
– Consulting green (technical and creative)
– Designing green
