an urban farming experience in utrecht
The Green House was developed by Albron and designed by Cepezed. MOSS contributed as Green Architect, integrating an urban farming concept along with indoor and outdoor greenery to connect visitors to urban agriculture.
the living restaurant experience
The concept emphasizes connection to nature. Our planting design brings edible plants, herbs, and seasonal greenery into the restaurant, bringing attention to the vitality of a direct relationship between growth and consumption.
from seed to table
The circular food-production system behind The Green House Utrecht: crops are grown, harvested, served, composted, and replanted in a continuous closed-loop cycle. By integrating urban farming, local food production, and waste-to-resource principles, the project reconnects people with nature while reducing environmental impact.
designed to support the environment
Eco-conscious elements are embedded through energy-efficient systems, water reuse, and urban farming. Our green design enhances air quality and spatial experience, demonstrating how design can educate, and inspire environmentally responsible behavior.
