THE NATURE STAIRCASE

HELLO! WELCOME TO THE NEW BOOKING.COM CAMPUS!

We are happy you have scanned through to learn more about the green implemented in your workplace. If you are curious to learn more about the greenery on the NATURE STAIRCASE, be sure to scroll and read more below!

Makers of Sustainable Spaces (MOSS) was provided with the perfect opportunity to transform your 11-storey campus into an abundantly green space that you can experience and enjoy. The planter you are currently standing in front of is called the staircase planter, specifically designed to be integrated with the architecture of the building.

We encourage you to use the stairs to admire this luscious, tropical garden one step at a time.

Keep scrolling to learn more about this planter, the plants it houses, the concept design behind it and the benefits of greenery in the workplace.

Throughout your journey around the campus, we encourage you to always look up! While you walk up the stairs, admire the foliage from below. We challenge you to guess how many plants were placed here (answers at the bottom of this page).

Can you imagine what an incredible effect they have on your mood? If you did not know that plants contribute to your overall well-being, you can learn more by clicking here.

Workers exposed to plants report a 15% higher level of well-being, are 6% more productive, and are 15% more creative (Interface 2015).

The foliage planted in this campus was strategically selected but MOSS does not only want you to admire them for their aesthetic qualities, we also want you to understand what types have been planted and why they are so great. Read more about some of the key plants at the NATURE STAIRS below.

The Design

MOSS worked with architects, Hofman Dujardin to integrate a custom, integrated planter within the staircase. We have created interest while you move from one level to another, meanwhile also encouraging you to use the stairs. We have also integrated various informal seating opportunities to be engulfed in greenery, enjoy your coffee here or have an informal chat with a colleague.
