a historic renovation
In 2021, Miro established a new office in a 30,000 ft2 space located in a historic building on Stadhouderskade, Amsterdam. MOSS was responsible for the interior green design.
concept and vision
Bold and colorful branding elements, such as sculptural red chairs and a vibrant yellow logo, add character to the communal areas. The design also emphasizes flexibility, with adaptable spaces that allow the team to develop their in-office culture organically.
connected to the environment
With the Leidsje Bos located on the right side of the building, shadows are casted into the space in summer. We took this into account, making sure that plants which need more sunlight sit in areas with year-round light. We also used the proximity to the Bos as an opportunity to connect employees with wild nature, keeping the line of sight clear so the forest can be enjoyed from inside the building.
