a biophilic workplace
the Mendix office was commissioned by Mendix and managed by CBRE. MOSS dsigned interior greenery that enhances employee well-being, softens the architecture, and creates natural focal points throughout open-plan offices, meeting rooms, and communal spaces.
creativity and well-being
At the heart of the building, we created a green oasis designed for people to recharge. This natural environment enhances creativity and helps reduce stress levels. Loose chairs and integrated benches are placed within the curved planter, offering a variety of comfortable seating options throughout the lush green space.
Jungle zone
The core of the building is often a challenging space to activate. With no natural daylight and constant circulation, it can easily become a purely transitional zone. By introducing this planter and integrating grow lights, we transformed the area into a vibrant environment where greenery from surrounding desks becomes visible. The planter also creates a natural boundary between workstations and meeting areas, adding clarity and comfort to the space.
