bringing green to zug, Switzerland

The Holcim Campus in Zug is the global headquarters for Holcim, the client who brought together an impressive team to green their workspace. MOSS was responsible for extensive interior green design, working alongside architects Beyond Space and Fritisch Beis, with green installed by Creaplant.

a forest walk indoors

The design includes ‘The Forest Walk’, a detail that brings the freshness of nature inside. With rough, rocky finishing softened by bright green elements, it offers a rejuvenating nature walk to pass through. This was completed with small leaves, pop-up highlights, and pine accents.

the bat cave

Another detail is the ‘Bat Cave’, which offers a sense of safety and security, with a dark plant selection to encourage comfort and concentration in the office space. This area plays with darkness to create a conceptual look, enhanced with bold statements and edgy structures.

redefing the corporate workspace

Holcim stands as a testament to innovation and sustainability in the concrete industry. Embracing biophillic design principles, this project epitomises a harmonious
fusion of nature and modernity. Through the strategic incorporation of natural elements, green spaces, and immersive biophilic elements, the headquarters becomes a living entity, establishing an environment where productivity thrives amidst a tranquil natural setting.
