Historic Headquarters Reimagined

DSM-Firmenich relocated its global headquarters to a revitalized national monument in Maastricht. The project brought together EDGE, Fokkema & Partners, BroekBakema, and MOSS to create a future-proof workspace.

greening the interior and exterior

We designed interior and exterior plant features, including a multi-level atrium garden, vertical green walls, and custom planters. The goal was to humanize the monumental space and visually connect workspaces with nature.

a model for green transformation

This project achieved BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum, with solar facades, climate-adaptive systems, and biodiversity-focused design. As a Paris Proof monument office, it sets a benchmark for greener, healthier commercial redevelopment.
